Change of date of the 2^nd Annual Conference

Our Czech eHealth Day event is very narrowly thematically focused, where its professional level is primarily based on the participation of leading experts and speakers from the Czech Republic, and in the 2nd year, also from abroad (representatives from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, SÚKL (State Institute for Drug Control) and health insurance companies, faculty and university hospitals).

Due to the presidency of the Czech Republic in the EU Council EU, however, we were unable to secure binding confirmation of the participation of some key persons this year. Therefore, we have decided to cancel the planned date and to hold the 2nd year of the conference and expert round table on an alternative date..

The Ministry of Health, the Office of the Government and the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region granted us the patronage of the conference.

The main topics of the international conference remain:

Telemedicine in clinical practice – assessment and evaluation of already implemented projects (in the Czech Republic and abroad)
Telemedicine as a tool to improve the availability of health services – barriers and opportunities
Introduction of innovative forms of care focused on the prevention and management of chronic diseases (in the Czech Republic and abroad)
Certification and categorization of medical devices for telemedicine

ABOUT PROJECT 2021

Czech eHealth Day is a broadly focused professional event aimed at the presentation of new knowledge in the development and practical application of eHealth and telemedicine.

On September 9th 2021, panel discussions were held on the premises of the University Hospital Ostrava with the participation of top management of hospitals, political and professional leaders and representatives of health insurance companies from all over the Czech Republic.

The event also included a presentation of current telemedicine options for the general public in the form of anonymous preventive screening of physiological functions, including the ceremonial launch of the TELEMEDPOINT project - remote monitoring in locations with reduced access to health care in the Moravian-Silesian region.
